Natural Ways To Recover From Accidental Gluten Ingestion

Accidental gluten ingestion is no joke for celiacs.  Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to hospitalization and anything in between.  That’s why any natural strategies for cleaning out the system after accidental gluten ingestion are to be used as soon and as much as possible. 

This article from the Gluten Free Resource Directory delineates a few possibilities for those suffering from accidental gluten ingestion.  Some of these are surprising, and some of these are just reflective of basic common sense.  Ginger tea, water, coconut water, rest, dairy avoidance (not sure about that one because it hasn’t helped my husband a stitch), avocado and the quintessential Jewish cure for all ills – chicken soup.
