According to this report recently released by the Institute for Responsible Technology, studies are showing links between the prevalence of GMO crops and gluten-related disorders.

Again, HT to Margo of the Kosher, Me and Gluten Free FB group who pointed out quite succinctly that the nine GMO crops currently being cultivated for commercial use are soy, corn, cotton, canola, sugar from sugar beets, zucchini, yellow squash, Hawaiian papaya and alfalfa.
